The activity course is a regular course drawn up and issued to the full-time primary and junior middle schools all across the country, by the state educational administrative department, as part of compulsory education. As a new-type curriculum, it should be made full use of based on its characteristics and advantages to satisfy the requirements of the state compulsory education. With all students educated in an all-round way, it works to fully carry out the educational policies, to achieve the training targets in primary and junior middle schools and to promote students'harmonious development in individuality and initiative. Moreover, it enhances students'adaptation to the modern world and helps to lay a solid foundation for their future life and social service. And with this course, students will possess the basic qualities as a citizen.Creating historical activity class is middle school curriculum standards of history. The People Education Press releases a set of six new middle school history textbooks, which are arranged for a certain amount of activity classes. Activity class in middle school covers "activities and to explore" in each module of the history textbooks and even in each set of the books, which has 23 activity classes in all.Activity class is still on the stage of exploration in China. Because activity class reflects the status of the history course, the standard of teaching, so the teachers seemed very enthusiastic in activity classes in history. There used to be many activity classes shown to middle school history teachers. However, compared to of the experience in the teaching practice, the writer felt that not only history has its practical activity class, but also in the secondary teaching history for the operation of the process, there are many limited factors.The curriculum reform in activity class already represents a direction of teaching reform and a philosophy. Therefore, this article explores how to grasp the spirit of the curriculum reform and the class into middle school teaching history so that history activity classes in middle school can get optimum performance and their practicality and worth.
