Moodle is a package that use constructivism as the theoretical basis for construct the open source code package of the Internet-based courses and websites. Moodle supports a variety way of teaching and learning pattern, it create a good network learning environment for learners to study independently, cooperative and individuality. In consideration of the advantages of Moodle system, we select it as a platform to proceed the construction, development and application of "High School Information Technology Infrastructure" network course.In this paper, based on Moodle course construction and design exploration. We applied literature analysis, action research, questionnaires and other methods from two aspects of theoretical and practical.First of all, it analyzes the Moodle application status domestic and overseas, constructivism-based theories of Moodle course design, discusses the basic characteristics of the Moodle, Moodle's installation and use, as well as the advantage in teaching applications. Meanwhile, based on the analysis and research of the document literature as well as the existing Moodle online course, bring forward the design principles of Moodle online course and the general pattern of design, investigate the construction of network teaching platform based on Moodle. And carry out teaching practice on the basis of "High School Information Technology Infrastructure" Moodle online course, evaluate curriculum design and teaching effectiveness, summarize research results and the existing problems.This article discusses Moodle platform of "High School Information Technology Infrastructure " basic building is not only able to provide new ideas and new methods for information technology courses design which provide a reference for teachers using Moodle to structure network courses.Meanwhile, by means of the introduce of Moodle Open Source Software for schools to provide an economic and practical construction plan of network platform, establishing web-based learning platform application environment, auxiliary existing defects of traditional education to promote open source software in the application and popularization of high school campus to make some contribution.
