China's Provincial Key University Engineering Development Studies

In today's society, the college as a knowledge intensive organization, has the edge by social institutions to economic societies in the axis, local economical society playing more and more powerful function. With the implementation of the strategy of an innovation-oriented country,our universities in China has put forward the new requirements again. If the universities want to shoulder the mainstay of knowledge innovation and technological innovation to the important role of the force really, we need to strengthen its knowledge spillovers ability constantly, change the current generally low technological achievements and reform,exploring a new development paradigm. The appearance of an entrepreneurial university provides a new research perspective for our country college in local social service. As a new mode of running a university,an entrepreneurial type university emphasizes the role in the socially economical development, with universities not only creating knowledge, technology transfering and directing participation, serving the entrepreneurial activity.The paper,from the entrepreneurial perspective, with 20 provincial universities focusing engineering as the research object in our country, begins from school-running orientation, training and research strength to our provincial universities focusing engineering at present development status to a simple generalization. And the paper summarizes provincial focusing in the engineering university for local service success experience, respectively manufacture-learning-research cooperation and technology transfering, established and hatching high-tech enterprises and the construction of university science and technology park. Our country engineering university has also some problems or challenges. For example,Where do we go facing university comprehensivizing? To what extent can truly localization for local service? How to deal with the education level marginalized?
