National Scholarships Educational Function

National scholarship and assistantship is an important measure to achieve educational equity, which reflects the party and the country's concern and care for students. Since the establishment of a national scholarship system in 2002, the national scholarship and assistantship system has developed and changed several times. At present, it has formed a relatively mature national assistant-learning system, which is great significance for students from poor families to successfully complete their education, adult talent. On the basis of reviewing the origin and development of the national scholarship and assistantship system, this paper deeply illustrates its specific functions, such as material support, inspiration, guidance, demonstrate and humane care. The national scholarships and assistantship continuously improve s in its operational links, but there are some shortcomings which need to be abandoned. Some aspects need further improvement, especially in the standard scientific, standardized operation, concise meaning, function development and evaluation mechanisms. With the current operation of the actual state, we consider that improving the education mechanism needs three aspects, which are assistance, education, and service. Then three-dimensional mode of salvage poor, help will and strengthen ability are gradually established. Some functions are further enhanced, such as awareness education of thanksgiving, integrity, responsibility and dedication feedback education. Its operation service areas of service educational function and the scientific level of funding is also enhanced and continuously improved. Based on salvaging poor students, we should focus on spiritual assistance and knowledge-funded with education funding and full of humane so that funding work can be highlighted different characteristics. Then the Education Function of National Scholarship and Assistantship will be played, which can make greater contribution to training qualified builders and successors for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
