Rural Junior High Current Affairs Education Status Quo And Its Optimization Strategy

With the rapid development of the modern society and more and more new things emerging from the world, students are definitely attracted by the new changes, new situations, new problems and new contradictions. They are trying to get to know this world, expanding their knowledge together with coming up with a lot of questions, the responsibility of helping these students lie on the news education. News education is an essential part of the course of politics of junior middle school. The new syllabus has been put into effect with a stress of news education and its influence on the students. However, in the countryside areas, the weak economic development, examination centered educational system and teachers of low quality all make the news education unworkable. The author wants to investigate the present situation, reasons and problems of countryside junior middle school education and put forward some suggestions of optimizing it.This thesis applies the methodologies of investigation and research together with the attitude of contacting the facts and the help of documents. This thesis consists of three parts as follows: The first part shows some basic theories of the junior middle school news education and the definition and characteristics of news education. It also talks about the importance of it from different angles.The second part reveals the present situation, reasons and problems of countryside junior middle school education. The teaching methods are not systematical, very random and old. The teachers just convey the knowledge regardless of caring the practical skills of the students. The students are interested in the news but have no access to it, let along analysis and understand the facts. All these have something to with the educational values, teaching abilities and economic development in the countryside.The third part talks about the optimization of countryside junior middle school news education, including the proper ways of achieving a better news education, exploring the relationship among teachers,schools and parents. It also point out some principals of selecting the news and countryside junior middle school news education.
