After the new curriculum reform, it changes a lot from junior physics to senior physics. The new curriculum theories make new commands on the physics teaching. With the implementation of the new curriculum, new circumstances and problems arise. During the practical teaching process, many factors severely affect students' learning. Thus, the research on the link between Junior and Senior physics under the new curriculum is on the way.According to the basic conditions of the physic teaching between Junior and Senior, the thesis combines psychological and educational theories with the practical teaching, attempting to put forward several principles:gradual process; the importance of the basic knowledge rather than advanced one; varieties of teaching methods; the importance of thinking ability. The Thesis is based on the factors which affect the link between Junior and senior physics teaching. The object of the research is the relationship among students, teachers and teaching materials which are the three affecting factors. The thesis adopts some major methodologies:literature research; inquiry; analysis and comparison, aimed at doing some exploring research and finding some link problems, such as the students basic knowledge, learning methods, teachers' teaching behavior and the difficulties of teaching materials. The thesis also refers to the research results from the same field of home and abroad as well as some documents, and puts forward some link strategies:the links of teaching demands, teaching contents, thinking ability, study methods and study habits. Meanwhile, it selects some specific teaching cases to be designed, analyzed, and practiced, which solves the problems from both teaching and learning. The thesis puts more emphasis on the practicality, effectiveness and specification, and develops some systematic and meaningful research results, hoping that it can benefit the physics teaching.
