This research adopts the case study methodology, take the curriculum design and implementation process as center, with full participation observational; study one of the Art education institutions in Nanjing.The investigator takes part-time job in the agency, and spends nearly two years to the study in the art education institutions as a staff. During the time, the researcher made a depth observation on the curriculum objectives, content, organization and implementation strategies and effects of the art educational institutions, and described and analyzed details of their curriculum design and implementation process. This study found they believed children's artistic potential, emphasized teachers'affect on the classes, curriculum content wide knowledge, such as art-masters works appreciation courses, allowing children to explore the usage of materials, focusing on children's self-expression. Curriculum with varied, flexible implementation strategies, identify resources for school art education, and lead children to nature, art galleries and other places to learn instead of teach them in the classroom.With the description of the art education institution's curricula design and implementation process, this study hope the art-school children could explore enjoy the art. improve art education for children outside schools.,enrich children's art education in the current circumstance, and provide a reference for the children's art teachers to promote the development of children's art education. |
