In an era of explosive knowledge and prosperous economy, the development of the students'independence, innovation and individuality in education is of supreme importance. The students'subject consciousness and individuality are best embodied in writing in the subject of Chinese. Individuation education demands individuation writing teaching."Chinese Curriculum Standards"points out that writing as the main form of expression and communication with language is a process of recognizing the world and self, a process of producing creative expression. Obviously, true feelings and innermost thoughts should be highly encouraged and valued in writing. As teachers of Chinese, our job is to help the students develop originality instead of mere parroting. Writing should serve as a form to communicate the students'true self, unique self and spiritual self. Therefore, in terms of composition writing, the Chinese teachers should no longer be traditionally exam-oriented. Instead, we should explore flexible and varied writing teaching strategies so as to build up the students'solid foundation for future development.In the background of vigorous development of new curricular reform, the author combines her personal writing teaching practice with the comprehensive theoretical study she has done. By analyzing the present situation of writing teaching in middle school, the author finds out its problems and causes. What's more, the author systematically illustrates the meaning, characteristics and theoretical basis of individuation writing teaching. Specific and practical writing teaching strategies are presented from the aspects of individuation material, individuation theme and individuation expression. Methods such as observation and experience, essay exchange, current events forum, dialectical thinking training, intense comment on content, individuation language training have been proved effective in practice, and therefore they are of practical value.The thesis is a combination of theory and practice. While constructing theory, the author shares her personal experience and lessons of her exploration in individuation writing teaching. The thesis aims at providing enlightenment and help for Chinese teachers in individuation writing teaching. By stressing the importance of the students'self-consciousness, developing the students'personal traits, respecting the students'personal feeling, it is believed that the students'writing ability and attainments can be truly improved. Accordingly, our writing teaching can move along the right track lively and vigorously.
