Content: The standard of Chinese course of ordinary high school points out that the Chinese course of high schools should enhance the students' Chinese accomplishments; give full play to the education function of Chinese curriculum. And specially points out: "It should enhance the skills of communication, self-confidence in oral communication, respect for others, pay attention to civilization of speaking, natural deportment, be good at listening and agile response. It also focuses on the characteristics of oral English , that is ,students can express properly according to different communicative occasions and purpose " And then, how to guide the students to carry on the oral training so that they can enhance the accomplishments of Chinese? In the teaching work, according to the spirit of new curriculum standard, aiming at high school students'currently existing situation, I carry out the five- minute speeches every class, and carry out a series of investigations and researches, and have made some achievements.This researching report is the results of practical activies achieved in No. 9 Senior High school where I have worked. Because it is a rural high school, it has some regional background and pertinence value. The article is divided into four parts:Firstly, I elaborate the aims of this reseaching practical activities from two aspects of students and teachers and I also elaborate the aims of enhancing five-minute speeches of the Chinese course, namely, 1.Cultivate the students' abilities of reading, expressing, listening, and writing, enhance the students' Chinese accomplishment in full, 2.Train students in oral communication in healthy psychological quality,3. Improve teachers' professional abilities and scientific researching levels from two angles of this survey named the purpose of research activity, thereby improving students and teachers' comprehensive Chinese accomplishment.Secondly: I will introduce the process of this survey specially: It is divided into four parts: the preparation stage, the survey stage, the implementation stage, and the summary stage. In the preparation stage, I study the curriculum standards thoroughly, collect related materials, enhance the levels of theories, decide the targets and methods of studying, make relevant questionnaire. In the survey stage, I have investigated class students and all teachers in the early activities, and make a furthur analysis of the ideas of the teachers and students in order to learn the present situation of them in this activity, In the implementation stage I make requirements about the five- minute speeches, and point out the whole training process ,forms and content. In the summary stage, I make summaries from the results of teachers' practice and students' comprehensive reports Thirdly, I summarize the achivements of the survey activities. 1. The students' comprehensive abilities and their Chinese accomplishment have been improved. 2. Make the students form healthy psychology.3.Enhance the professional accomplishments of the high school teachers. In a word, the teachers and students get a lot from this survey activity.Finally, I will summarize the experience of the activity, which includes the following points;1.The teachers should give the right guides to the five-minute speeches and can't let them do anything freely.2.The teachers should design the plans the speeches according to the present psychology of the students so that it is colourful, interesting and step by step.3.Require the stdutents to deliver the speeches without referring to the materials.4.Control the situation flexibly and pay attention to the atmosphere and time of the classes.5.The assessments of the speeches should be based on encouragements and praises and the standard of grading should be improved and detaied.6.The activity should be persistent, checked termly, and the teachers should master the quality of it. Because they will have great effects on the furtur teaching and they will have the guidances to the related progessing activities of researching and practice.
