Zhuang Negative Sentence Comparative Study

The paper mainly refers to the theories and frameworks of modern Chinese negative sentences with the purpose to analyze and study Zhuang languages of Wuming, Longzhou, Boai and Jingxi.The studies about the negative sentences of Zhuang, even the Tai-ka-Tai languages are not enough. Therefore, the study of negative sentences of Zhuang also plays a supplementary role for the study of those in Chinese and Tai-ka-Tai languages. Adopting the methods of full-text searching and fieldwork, this paper is the first research into the characteristics of Zhuang negative sentences from different perspectives.The paper, with the reference of Li Fanggui'academic research, covers rich materials, and will be the first time publishing fieldwork corpus of Zhuang negative sentences. The research methods are mainly based in synchronic study, supplemented by historical comparative approach, and the theories of language typology, grammaticalization, functional grammar and other approaches.The first chapter of the paper is the introduction. This chapter reviews the research findings of negative words and negative sentences, and points out the basis of this study; introduces the theories and methods; defines the denial and the negative sentence. With a comprehensively analysis of several different points of view, and the combination with the specific condition of the Zhuang, the paper has a study of the those negative sentence with the negation markers and the expression negative meaning.The second chapter describes the nagetive words of Zhuang dialects, summing up the main negative word type of the four dialects: negative words of perfect tense, general negative words and the imperative negative words, and describes the function of tense and aspect,and grammaticalization of Zhuang negative wordsThe third chapter includes Zhuang negative sentence in different aspects. First, Zhuang negative sentences are divided into the general negative sentence and prohibitive sentence, and then summed up the negative forms of the negative sentences, then describes Zhuang the focus and scope of negation, and then discusses the strong and weak degree of negative ways, and negation of comparative sentences.The fourth chapter descries the special negative structure of Zhuang, including:"must not " structure, the negation of verb-complement structure, the negative sentence which omits the "have", the negation of coordinate structure, negative sentences interrogative negative word order and their special words order.The fifth chapter is a summary of the full text, compares and summarizes various characteristics of negative sentences of Zhuang dialects, presents the problems and deficiencies in this study, as well as some unresolved issues.
