A Study Of Negative Sentence In The Traditional Repertoire Of Sichuan Opera "The Anthology Of Huang Ji’an Drama Script"

“The Anthology of Huang Ji’an Drama Script” is a typical representative of Si Chuan drama script,and it provides a fairly complete language materials for our study of the Si Chuan dialect during the period of the late of Qing Dynasty and the earlier stage of the Republic of China.In this paper,we will make a close study of “The Election of Huang Ji’an Drama Script”,make exhaustive statistics on the negation of this book from the negative marker(form) and make a qualitative and quantitative analysis and a detailed induction.We focus on the description of synchronic study,in order to reveal the characteristics of the negative sentences of Si Chuan dialect roughly during the period of the late of Qing Dynasty and the earlier stage of the Republic of China.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part:“introduction”.In this part,We introduce the contents,language features,the version and collation,the research status of the Si Chuan drama script——“The Election of Huang Ji’an Drama Script”,and the research situation of Chinese negation; the source of my paper; corpus the purpose and thought of this research as well as the standard.The second part:“The classification of the negative sentences in the ‘The Election of Huang Ji’an Drama Script’”.In this part,following the negative marker of this script,we divided the negative sentences into nine categories,including “bu”,“wu”,“fei”,“wei”,“mo”,“wu”,“wu”,“xiu”,“mei”.For each kind of negation,we focus on the characteristics of all kinds of sentence form syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects.The third part:“The discussion of the related problems of the negation of‘Huang Ji’an script selection’”.On the basis of the second chapter,this part respectively discusses the nine kinds of negation form two aspects ——the quantity of negative sentences and the differences of negative function.The fourth part: conclusion. This article on the Huang Ji’an script selection of negative sentences are summed up.
