Critical On Althusser's Ideology Theory

The implementation of Reforming and opening up policy which has a long history over30years since1987,made great worthy achievements in the economic, political, cultural, and other fields of our country. It diversify the forms of ownership and distribution in economics, made the production of cultural diversity, it also diversify the lifestyle and organizational forms of social field. Several of ideological trends of the West have been pouring into our country under such circumstance. How do we treat these trends? How to consider the relationships between the mainstream ideology of our country and the Western thought? Especially for the relationships between the Western Marxism? It attracted a wide range of thinking in the domestic scholars for its ideology and distinguish problem.The French Western Marxist scholars, ideology, scientists, party members, Althusser who is well known for its loyal faith to Marxism and its great achievements in the field of ideology theory, His life, no matter in academics or life is full of controversy. As a member of the Communist Party, Althusser is loyal to his belief in Marxism from the day of joining in the French Communist Party, even when experiencing a crisis of Marxism. it is worthy of all party members to learn. It's true that Althusser's theory of ideology played an important role in promoting the further research, but it's not perfect. This paper is aimed to provide a reference for the identification of various external influences from abroad.This paper introduces the theoretical source of Althusser ideology, the conception of the history of Althusser ideology, the relationship between science and ideology, the ideological exposition of the functions and characteristics of Althusser ideology. It analyzes the Spinoza's rationalism, philosophy of Baxielaer, Lacan's psychoanalytic theory, Gramsci and ideological leadership of ideas, Marx's ideology theory's influneces on Althusser theory of ideology. It analyzes and criticizes some Althusser's philosophical views. It aimed at making some suggestions for the construction of China's socialist core value system.
