| Practical writing is an essential tool for people to communicate with each other, exchange information, apply for a job and deal with business. A modern man has to practice practical writings in many places , for example, notices, notes, applications, inaugural addresses, work summaries, etc. However, due to the low writing skills of students of secondary vocational schools and the limited courses, at present , the teaching of practical writing in secondary vocational schools tends to focus on lingual teaching and forms, which reduces the teaching of practical writing to a state of"easy to learn , hard to practice"and makes it difficult to improve the writing skills of the students of secondary vocational schools.This paper uses schema theory as its leading theory. It first analyzes the general aim of the teaching of practical writing in secondary vocational schools, and sets teaching target sequence by considering the basic capacity of students of secondary vocational schools .As the essence of teaching objectives is learning results, this paper defines the learning results of the teaching of practical writing as the schema acquisition of the style of practical writing in general. This schema can characterize the declarative knowledge of practical writing as well as the procedural knowledge and the strategic knowledge of practical writing. Based on these , this paper analyzes the drawbacks of the teaching methods of practical writing and puts forward four effective methods to facilitate the teaching methods of the schema acquisition of the style of practical writing: style teaching, sample analysis, depth imitative and schematic drawing , according to the research on the promotion of the process and conditions of the declarative knowledge and the strategic knowledge by cognitive psychologists. At last , this paper discusses the feasibility of improving the skills of practical writing of students of Secondary vocational schools by the schema acquisition of the style of practical writing through experiments. |
