To Explore The Psychological Treatment Factors And The Psychological Function Of Liangshan Yi People's Bimo Ritual

The Bimo Ritual constitutes the core part of the traditional religion of Yi Nationality in Liangshan. The Bimo Ritual has been regarded as"superstition"and always out of the view of scholars. However, it has played a profound impact on the nation's social psychology, behavioral norms and awareness of the concept. All aspects of Bimo ritual refract Yi nation's traditional culture and social life, and its unique way meets Yi nation'social and psychological needs.In recent years, psychotherapy theory and method in China has been facing the issue of nationalization in the process of localization, that is, how to bring into play the psychotherapeutic system which is suitable for the China's traditional culture and ethnic minority's culture is the realistic problem we are facing in the process of psychotherapy localization. For Yi nations who has still lingered on the world of"sacrifice ancestor and fear ghosts", the diagnosis done by Bimo and Bimo Ritual are entirely consistent with their experience philosophy, and they believe everything confused that happens in real life are due to ghost playing. Therefore, they believe that the ghost can follow the will of the people to make corresponding changes by the particular Bimo Ritual. This provides the people with spiritual comfort and psychological support. Therefore, to a certain extent, Bimo ritual is not a simple phenomenon, but a folk psychological therapy possessing a rich cultural connotation.Therefore, In this paper, we take the country's largest Yi Minority - Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture as an example, relying on historical documents and detailed field survey, drawing on existing research and academic theories, and based on the theories and methods of the shaman and witch culture in ancient China, to explore the psychological treatment factors and the psychological unction of Liangshan Yi nation's Bimo ritual.This article is divided into three parts, the first part includes chapters I and II. The first chapter introduces the history of Yi nation's Bimo culture and the social background of existence and development of Yi nation's Bimo culture in Liangshan; The second chapter describes the types and research status of Liangshan Yi naiton's Bimo ritual in order to address the motivation of this research. The second part includes two chapters, which describe and analyze the psychological treatment factors and the related functions of Liangshan Yi nation's Bimo ritual. The comparisons and analysis of common factors between the psychotherapy of modern ritual and the psychological treatment of Bimo ritual are made in Chapter III, from which we can draw Bimo rituals for the treatment are not all pseudo-science, it has its rational and scientific of existence. Chapter IV analyzes the psychological therapy of Liangshan Bimo ritual. The third part is the conclusion part, through the first three parts we conclude that we should make full use of and develop fully the religious ritual of Yi traditional culture to create a new way for localization and nationalization of psychotherapy research in Chian.
