Georges Rousse was a famous contemporary French artist. Since 1980s, he has been engaged in an artistic creation that taking the unique photo from a specific angle for a selected deserted building together with the paintings made by Rousse in the building. We can see the integral picture only through a stationary position, once changing the viewing angle, the images will be disintegrated. Such is the most important characteristic of Georges Rousse's works. He uses this method to relate the building and painting to the photography. And what's more, he makes use of people's visual habit to compress the three-dimensional space into a plat and creates an illusion to the viewers. This article aims at discussing the problems about Rose's space, including the creation way and the process of dealing with the space in his works. The saying of flatting the three - dimensional space originated from the painting. Through the painting, the three-dimensional space is transformed into the two-dimensional flat space. Here I want to discuss the way of plating the real three-dimensional space.
