As an important phenomenon of ancient Chinese literary,the literary families thrive since wei-jin dynasty. And as the initial stage of Chinese literary families,literary families of Han dynasty should be taken note. In these literary families,ban family last some three hundred years.This family generated several famous writers,such as Ban Jieyu,Ban Gu,Ban Biao, Ban Zhao.This thesis makes a description of the history of ban literary family,and analyses the characteristics of ban literature and the works of ban writers.In the meantime,the thesis analyses the relationship between ban literature and the social situation.This article is divided in there parts,including Introduction,Text and Epilogue.And the text consists of three chapters:Chapter one introduces the history of ban literary family.In this chapter,we research the history through separately analyzing the phases of accumulation, development and extinction.And in every stage,we analyse the reasons by observing the social situation and ban family itself.Chapter two makes a rough description of ban literary the literary works and utilizing previous research results. then through analyzing Ban JieYu "yuan ge xing " and Ban Gu "Hang du fu",we research into the differences existing academic discussion in the two works, making our own judgments. For ban's literary innovation place of style, the main contents and forms are analyzed, the structure of the innovation for academic consensus.Chapter three analyses the relationship between the characteristics of ban literature and the social ideological trends.In this chapter,we mainly observe two characteristics of ban's family ideology,the ideology of Confucianism and Taoism and the ideology of admiring Han dynasty.And we will also analyse the sources of the two ideological characteristics through observing the social atmospheres and familial tradition.
