"Middle-aged writing" is one of the important Poetic Discourse in 1990s, but in the 90's Poetics Construction, it did not reach a consensus. Discusses the major differences of opinion as a tripartite body:The "intellectual writing" group, represented by poets and poetry researcher, "middle-aged writing" Poetic Art as a mature symbolic representation. "Middle-aged writing" in the "middle age" is not physical age, but "1989" expected to achieve after the poet writing turned to the writing of a mature state. The "Folk Writing" Poets and Poetry does not endorse the symbolic meaning of "Middle-aged writing" which was given by "intellectuals writing" group, they think, middle-aged writing "state is almost all long-lived poet, writers may experience the process of writing a "slow, inhibit, open" period.
