Chinese Pioneer Poetry in 1990s, maybe having no representative or famous poets, is so valuable that some criticisms claim that it has reached an unprecedented level in the spiritual extension and vocabulary refinement by a generation of youth poets in 1990s,and it is probably the only artistic form with creativity and vigor in Chinese literature in 1990s. The claimants are probably too exaggerating to be believable, However it is undoubted true that Chinese pioneer poetry has made considerable progress and breakthrough compared with modern poetry in 1980s, even in 1930s and 1940s. Poetic ideas are more open, and they involve wider field; Techniques are explored more freely.This thesis focusing on the gradually increasing Chinese pioneer poetry in 1990s, based on abundant and convincing first-hand materials, emphatically elaborates the writing trend and aesthetic breakthrough of Chinese pioneer poetry in 1990s, then suggests that Chinese pioneer in 1990s fall into three categories namely daily life writing, creative writing and deconstruction writing, and also analyses its two aesthetic breakthroughs, that is, narrative pursuit and cross-style writing.Some pioneer poets like Yu Jian , Han Dong ,Yang Ke , from the perspective of common people, give constant personal description of vulgar and some affectionate daily life, expecting to discover hidden poetic image from physical images, and trying to find out the possibility of changing the experience from daily life into poetic materials , they advocate using original and common language to write instead of hidden metaphor , try to avoid the regulation and constraints of ideology, and express their respect and value of real daily life in the struggle against mechanics and decadence .Some other pioneer poets like Xi Chuan , Zang Di , Wang Jiaxin , stress philosophical contemplation and intelligent concentration , and the technique consciousness in poetry writing and the real nature of poetic language and furthermore. They intentionally keep intellectual attitude to emphasize humanism, therefore reality can be constantly judged and surpassed. While pioneer poets like Yi Sha , Xu Jiang , Ma Fei, using the deconstruction attitude of anti-sublimity , as well as the new direction and position of pioneer poetry in a new cultural context in 1990s , from the perspective of post-modernistic black humor , and wise , lively deriding oral language , dispel the formal discourse of the consciousness of main trend. This thesis tries to analyses poets and poetry texts with different trends from the perspectives of writing position, theme and language, when affirming these pioneer poets' creativity and aesthetic innovating significance . This thesis also expresses deep apprehension about its problem and negative effects. As for aesthetic breakthrough or feature of being Narrative , which is a significant symbol of pioneer poetry in 1990s , this thesis analyses it from different perspectives, from the perspective of cultural attitude or poetic conception transference, it refers to the correction of the relation between pioneer poetry and reality, it stands for the new direction and new standpoint for pioneer poetry, in the cultural context of 1990s; From methodology or the relation between subjects and objects, it can be an objective , realistic method or view angle at which pioneer poetry applied in observing, imagining, and evaluating the world; From the perspective of literature, especially in writing techniques, it is a constructive factor or artistic way, which is more comprehensive and can better realize the concreteness and abundance of poetic context, which to a large extent uses declarative sentences instead of expressing words, and replaces symbols, metaphors and images by using narration.
