Choral Works Of Tian Feng

Tian Feng is one of the most important composers in the 20th century. His music almost covered all musical genres, including symphonies, piano concertos, cello, piano, flute music, opera, ballet, also composed for films, TV series, drama and musical large write music, creating all kinds of choral works, more than 100.By selecting two representatives of his choral works: Symphony Chorus, "Song of Da Liangshan" and Choral Suite "Yunnan style." This thesis explores his life, the techniques and style of creation so that people can have a better understanding about Tian Feng's musical creation of three choral works.The thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter introduces Tian Feng's life and creation. The second chapter is a detailed analysis of his two choral works, mainly on the melody, Tune-method, theme throughout, and the use of the voice, tone, polyphonic and many other aspects of technique and its application. Chapters III and IV are the key points of the thesis, which analyzes deeply his unique way of thinking of creation and practical significance of his choral works. Conclusion summarizes the characteristics of his creation, and my view on the style of his music. Therefore, Tian Feng used his own unique musical language, inherited traditions, but got rid of the shackles of the tradition, creating a series of choral works which are unique style of him, without losing the characteristics of the times. So he formed his own distinguishing style of music which is a guide to the world, not only at past and even for today's choral works of China.
