The research aims at the learing effect of adopting play activities to increasecerebral palsy children's gross motor ability by the single subject's withdrawal designmethod. There are two main purposes in the research:(1) to explore can adopting playactivities improve the cerebral palsy children's gross motor;(2) to explore how to usedskill of play activities. The subjects are two mild cerebral palsy boys------case A andcase B. In the research, it worked totally for two months. This study's found includethree aspects:1. Effect of intervention. Adopting play activities can improve the cerebral palsychildren's gross motor.2. Guide of play activities. The manner of guide which combining Independent playingand instructor-led playing can effectively maintain the interest of cerebral palsychildren with play activities,at the same time, to ensure the achievement of trainingobjectives.3. The design of the play activities. The principles of play activities' design, in thisstudy, can guide the design of cerebral palsy children's play activities.The principles of play activities' design:①The design and implementation of play activities should focus on the trainingobjectives. There are two basic works before design play activities, the one isaccurate assessment of cerebral palsy children's gross motor ability, the other isselecting training objectives.②Emphasis on interests of children with cerebral palsy, choose their favoriteand familiar things as the material of play activities'design.③Task difficulty is to increase in play activities. The rate of increase should besuitable for children with cerebral palsy, not too fast.④We should focus on the course of the play activities, do not give the reward asa bargaining chip in exchange for cerebral palsy children with training. Theencouragement which can increase children's sense of accomplishment, and the funof the game are the best reward to children. ⑤To consider the stages of cognitive development and characteristics ofchildren with cerebral palsy in game's design.⑥The geme scenes and props should be as specific as possible...
