| Objective:This research chose Sling Exercise Therapy (SET) on cervical spondylosis. Observe the role to relieve symptoms and improve the signs and restore function, increase joint range of motion, improve mental state. To explore a more safer and effective method for cervical spondylosis. Methods:According to the inclusion criteria,50cervical spondylosis patients were randomly divided into SET group, traction group,25cases in each group. The SET group was treated with sling exercise therapy and microwave therapy. The traction group was treated with traction therapy and microwave therapy. One course is7days, once a day,30-40minutes every time. The result value were carried on pre-treatment, post-treatment and one month post-treatment. Evaluation indicators include:①Visual analogue score(VAS);②Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA);③Clinical assessment scale for cervical spondylosis (CASCS);④The Neck Disability Index (NDI);⑤Range of motion (ROM). Organizing the data and implementing the statistical analysis.Result:1. Clinical efficacy assessment, the number of the patients of the SET treatment group who cured was7; marked effective was8; effective was8; no changed was2. The total effective rate was91%. And the number of the patients of the traction control group who cured was5; marked effective was5; effective was7; no changed was8. The total effective rate was68%. By the statistics chi-square test, compared the total effective rate of the SET group with the traction control group (P<0.05). The result was noticed statistical significance, and expressed that the SET treatment group was better than the traction control group.2. By comparising P value between the two groups after finishing the treatment, we get the following result:①Post-treatment and one month post-treatment of the SET group compared with pre-treatment (P<0.01), difference was statistically significant. The SET group has a significant effect for cervical spondylosis. Post-treatment and one month post-treatment of the traction group compared with pre-treatment (P<0.01), difference was statistically significant. The traction group also has a significant effect for cervical spondylosis.②Compared the difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment of the SET group with that of the traction (P<0.05). the efficacy of SET was better than the traction group. Compared the difference between pre-treatment and one month post-treatment of the SET group with that of the traction (P<0.01), the efficacy of SET was significantly better than the traction group.Conclusion:1. Post-treatment and one month post-treatment, the VAS and HAMA, CASCS, NDI, the ROM score and the total effective rate of the SET group compared to that of the traction group, difference was statistically significant, indicating that the sling exercise therapy (SET) is better than the traction group for cervical spondylosis.2. Through sling exercise therapy (SET), the patients with cervical spondylosis whose cervical local muscle, global muscle and sensory-motor function has been significantly improved, and can effectively relieve symptoms, improve signs, restore function, increase range of motion, improve mental state. |
