Objective: In view of the systematic study on life manifestations record in the TCM theory is still absent, and our clinican,s konwledge of life manifestations is quite incomplete, it is easy to be misdiagnosed and mistreated, and affect the diagnosis and treatment.So, to obtain the life manifestations corresponding to 427 Symptomatic Units generally and systematically, and to create the database of the life manifestations corresponding, which will Enrich the contents of the basic theory of TCM and improve the diagnosis and treatment of clinical.Methods: First, 427 Symptomatic Units are classified into 26 categories. Then, establish a clear inclusion criteria. There are 26 electronic books, which are downloaded from"Superstar Digital Library", For example < Physiology>,<Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine>,<Diagnostics>. Last, Life manifestations corresponding to the Symptomatic Units were screened in the light of these categories,and the sorting.Results: Establish datebase of the life manifestations corresponding to 427 Symptomatic Units, then, describe them in the forms of 26 categories, including eating, breathing, sleeping, expression, voice, body, eyes, mouth, nose, ears, tongue, anus, urethra, reproduction, skin, head, neck, thoracic and breast, abdomen, lumbar spinal cord and joint, stool, urine, menstruation, vaginal discharge, lochia, pulse and fingerprints.Conclusions:①It was found that the life manifestations have five features, which compared with abnormal life manifestations. They(The five features) are short duration time, not serious, low frequency, occurring mostly in some especial physiological stage and having clear inducing agents.②Based on the reasons of the life manifestations corresponding, we classified them into 3 clusters as the life manifestations corresponding of a quiet life, the life manifestations corresponding of the special physiological stage, and the life manifestations corresponding induced by triggers.
