Abstract/Summary:
Objective : To observe FIB and other related factors on delayed cerebral edema in cerebral hemorrhage, and to explore related factors impact on prognosis in cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: Analyzed retrospectively the conservative treatment of 60 cases of acute non-traumatic cerebral hemorrhage in January 2008~ February 2011 Department of Neurology, of which 29 cases complicated with delayed cerebral edema and 31 cases not complicated . Recorded the general condition of selected patients such as age, sex, clinical characteristics, medical history and complications, and monitored FIB values, blood lipids and other indicators after onset for three consecutive weeks, and dynamic observed hematoma and the surrounding low-density changes by head CT during the same period, to analyze related factors on delayed cerebral edema and their relationship with prognosis by single and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Result: The results suggest that elevated FIB, hematoma volume, smoking, and hypertension associated with delayed cerebral edema by multivariate logistic regression analysis, and there are statistically significant differences(P<0.05). delayed cerebral edema obviously associated with the continuous elevation of FIB(OR=14.93). COX model of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that delayed cerebral edema, persistent elevation of FIB and hypertension influence the prognosis and have an adverse effect on the disease recovery, and the P values were 0.018, 0.024, 0.042.Conclusion: FIB, hematoma volume, smoking, and hypertension closely associated with delayed cerebral edema. Delayed cerebral edema, persistent elevation of FIB and hypertension influenced the prognosis. To analyze delayed cerebral edema in cerebral hemorrhage, and to take effective control measures for risk factors, it has important clinical significance to reduce mortality and morbidity, and to improve the prognosis with cerebral hemorrhage.
