ObjectiveThis paper describes the development,etiology,physiopathology,risk factor,and treatment of Delayed Perihematomal Edema after Intracerebral HemorrhageMethodThe history,feature,laboratory and image,treatment and prognosis were observed and obtained by the way of case analysis and literature review.ResultsThe result showed:case 1,was a 25 year old woman,who had pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome,had cerebral bleeding after normal childbirth.She had delayed perihematomal edema after intracerebral hemorrhage after 1 month.LNMRI showed that a capsule formation around the hematoma.Risk factors:hematoma volume,age,hypertension,fibrinogen.Case 2,the middle-aged man had severe hypertension,but never toke drugs and hard to control the blood pressure.He had delayed perihematomal edema after intracerebral hemorrhage after 3 weeks.Risk factors:hematoma volume,gender,hypertension,fibrinogen,blood glucose,NIHSS score.ConclusionThe author concludes that encephaledema is a severe complication after ICH.Delayed Perihematomal Edema occurs after ICH at least for 2 weeks.The physiopathology is not clear.,maybe the mass effect,ischemia reperfusion injury,RBC,hemoglobin,iron,WBC,platelet,prothrombin,complement,mannitol are the reasons.Risk factors:age,gender,hypertension,hematoma volume,high fibrinogen,blood glucose,NIHSS score,MMPs,BNP,smoke,capsule.
