To Observe The Clinical Effects Of The Chinese Herb (Clearing Away Heat Dampness Blood Stasis And Toxin Method) In Treating Chronic Hepatitis B

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of the Chinese herb (clearing away heat dampness blood stasis and toxin method) in treating chronic hepatitis B.It is expected to improve the patients'signs and symptoms,the liver function test,inhibit viral replication,recover the liver tissue damage,prevent progression to liver fibrosis and liver cancer.Method:60 cases with chronic hepatitis are randomly divided into 2 groups,there are 30 cases in each groups.The treatment group were given "Sini San" for oral administration combine with oral Lamivudine 10 mg. once daily;the control group were merely given oral Lamivudine 10 mg. once daily.Both groups took for 6 months.Result:in treatment group, cure 3cases(10%), effective 27 cases(90%), no effective 0 case(0%).In control group, cure 0 case(0%), effective 25 cases(83.33%), no effective 5cases(16.66%).There is statistically significant difference(p<0.05) between two groups. The sign and symptom scores were improved in both group,there is statistically significant difference (p<0.05) between two groups. The liver function in ALT, AST, TB were decreased in both groups,but there is no statistically significant difference (p>0.05) between two groups. There is no side effect in both groups.Conclusion:Clearing away heat dampness blood stasis and toxin method has a good therapeutic effect on treating chronic hepatitis B with type of dampness heat and blood stasis. There is significant for improving the clinical signs and symptoms, moreover, there is no any side effect.
