Studies Of The Cardboard External Fixation Swing Arm Method Recent Curative Effect To Neer Ⅰ, Ⅱ Type Surgical Neck Fractures Of The Humerus

Objective:Observe to the cardboard external fixation swing arm treatment method used for Neer I, II type surgical neck fractures of the humerus, analyze the recent clinical curative effect, and give basis to the conservative treatment for surgical neck fractures of the humerus.Methods:Literature study part systematically reviews the domestic and international general research profiles about surgical neck fractures of the humerus. Clinical research part use non-random group selection.30 patients from 2009 sept. to 2011 jan. were divided into two groups. Test group include 16 patients were treated by the way of swing arm with cardboard external fixation treatment, while the control group 14 patients included were treated by conventional external fixation treatment with manipulative reduction. According to Constant-Murley score table, we compared the two groups before treatment and the first three days, one week, two weeks, four and eight weeks after treatment of the shoulder pain, daily life, activities and muscle strength recovery and other observational indicators, concluded the results based on evaluation of the overall treatment outcome score, compare fracture restorational degrees and clinical healing time combined with radiological observe before and after treatment. SPSS 17.0 statistical software were used for the treatment group and control group observed indicators analyzed and compared.Results:Swing arm with cardboard external fixation treatment therapy can play the same way on the location fracture recovery and fixation with the conventional fixation methods; two groups of conservative treatment are similar in terms of fracture healing time; The experimental group is superior than the control group on the respects of pain, joint mobility, muscle strength in the later time(P<0.05); Overall scores of the two groups have significant differences(P<0.01).Conclusions:For NeerⅠ,Ⅱtype surgical neck fractures of the humerus patients, using cardboard external fixation swinging arm method can obtain good therapeutic effect. It's an effective treatment in fracture healing and shoulder function recovery aspects.
