The Clinical Research Of Chronic Hepatitis B Treated With Soothing The Liver, Removing Blood Stasis And Detoxifying

Objective:This research aims to observe the clinical efficacy of Chronic Hepatitis B Treated with Soothing the Liver, Removing Blood Stasis and Detoxifying. To be constructed with the therapy group used western medicine Lamivudine or Adefovir Dipivoxil.We want to evaluate the therapeutic effect and security with the method of Soothing the Liver, Removing Blood Stasis and Detoxifying treating Chronic Hepatitis B, probing into the effect in arresting the progress of Chronic Hepatitis B.Method:57 patients will be involved from the clinic and inpatient,who will be separated into the treatment group(n=29) and the control group(n=28).The treatment group adopted the decoction of herbal medicine of Soothing the Liver, Removing Blood Stasis and Detoxifying, while the control group were received Lamivudine or Adefovir Dipivoxil. Both of two groups were treated for 6months. The clinical symptoms and physical signs, integral of TCM symptoms, Liver function, Marking thing of hepatitis B, Second liver 5 ration,HBV-DNA ration. changes in the ultrasound indices of liver and spleen and safety indexes were measured respectively before treatment, at 3months and at 6months, comparing the two different therapies.Result:1.Comparison of the total clinical effect:After two groups were treated for 6 months, we have found the following results:of the treating group (29cases), complete response was 4 cases (13.8%),partial response was 9 cases(31.0%),non-response was 16cases(55.2%), total efficiency rate was 44.8%; Of the control group (28cases), complete response was 8 cases (28.6%) partial response was 12cases(42.9%),nonresponse was 8cases(28.5%),total rate was 71.4%.The treatment group was much better than the control group (P< 0.05).2. Comparison of improvement of the clinical symptoms:The treatment group could make the tiredness and inertia,bitter taste, and poor feeding better (P<0.01).In the respect of curative effect of TCM symptoms, of the treating group (29 case),9 cases got the clinical cure,7 cases got the rate of effect,7 cases got valid,6 cases was null and void, the total curative effective value was 79.3%; Of the control group (28 cases),3cases got clinical cure,3cases got the rate of effect,10 cases got valid,12cases was invoid, and the total effective rate was 57.1%; Through chi-square test, the clinical curative and efficacy rates existed a significant difference between the two groups. The result have shown us that the treatment group was better than the controlling group.3.The comparison of liver function:When two groups were treated for 3 and 6 months respectively, the respects of ALT,AST,TBil,GGT all had improvement in some varying degrees, through the Mauchly's test, the difference was significant(P<0.05).Comparison between two groups, When the two groups were treated for 3 months and 6 months respectively,the levels of ALT, AST,through statistics test, the difference was non-significant(P>0.05),the two group had the same effect in improving liver function.4. Safety comparison of two group:we had not found any adverse reactions and toxic effect.Conclusion:These study indicated that Soothing the Liver, Removing Blood Stasis and Detoxifying Chinese Formula are efficient in symptoms alleviating, promoting recovery of hepatic functions, having a certain anti-virus function, controlling the worsen of the disease, and raising life quality of patients. Soothing the Liver, Detoxifying and Removing Blood Stasis Chinese Formula is very safe, efficient and has little side effect, therefore,it is worth promoting this treatment.
