Objective:The first purpose is to provide more support for clinical treatment of Combined Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma Syndrome(CARAS), through the analysis of the distribution characteristics of TCM syndrome types. The second purpose is to verify the method of "benefiting qi, dispelling pathogenic wind, dredging channel blockage and resolving fluid retention", through the systematic clinical observation on 60 cases of CARAS patients. Methods:Take 100 cases of CARAS patients as the objects of observation, collect clinical manifestations and then analyze the distribution characteristics. Select 60 cases of acute stage and "deficiency of lung qi, wind-phlegm obstructing the lung" at random. Study group which contains 30 cases is given Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation and "benefiting qi, dispelling pathogenic wind, dredging channel blockage and resolving fluid retention decoction", normal group which contains 30 cases is given Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation and Loratadine Tablets. Two weeks are a treatment course, altogether two courses. Take symptom grading, lung function(FEV1, PEF), IgE, EOS as observation index.Result:(1)The distribution of syndrome types:out of the 100 cases of CARAS patients,66 is "deficiency of lung-qi, wind-phlegm obstructing the lung"(66%),16 is "deficiency of lung-qi,wind-phlegm turning hot" (16%),18 is "deficiency of lung-yang, wind- phlegm obstructing the lung"(18%),24 is concurrent with "deficiency of spleen-qi"(24%),14 is concurrent with "deficiency of kidney-qi"(14%),52 is concurrent with "liver-qi stagnation"(52%), and 10 is concurrent with "damp-heat pathogen"(10%). (2)The clinical efficiency: the differences of overall response rate between study group and normal group don't have statistical significance(P>0.05), the differences of clinical controlling rate, symptom grading, lung function, IgE, EOS have statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The most syndrome type of CARAS acute stage is "deficiency of lung-qi, wind- phlegm obstructing the lung", mostly concurrent with "liver-qi stagnation". Thus the main method of TCM treatment should be "benefiting qi, dispelling pathogenic wind, dredging channel blockage and resolving fluid retention", meanwhile noticing zang-fu and damp-heat pathogen. This study proved that the decoction had conclusive clinical efficiency in treating CARAS. |
