Analysis of clinical data of 307 patients showed:patients were mainly 21-50 years old, secondary education the following men,who is about 2.7 times that of female patients; the main routes of infection is sexually transmitted; fever and oral candidiasis are the major symptoms; CD4 T lymphocyte count in AIDS patients with combined oral candidiasis is significantly lower than who without combined oral candidiasis.2,IL-12 and ICAM-1 expression results showed:IL-12 and ICAM-1 were expressed in all plasma;when AIDS patients without combined oral candidiasis,IL-12 was significantly decreased and ICAM-1 was ;and in AIDS patients' plasma with combined oral candidiasis,IL-12 and ICAM-1 both were significantly increased.Conclusions:(1) patients were mainly 21-50 years old, less educated and have unsafe sex men.(2) fever and oral candidiasis are the major symptoms.(3) the emergence of oral candidiasis is a sign of AIDS in the late course of the disease into a poor prognosis.(4) IL-12 in the combined oral candidiasis expressed as overexpression.(5) ICAM-1 in peripheral blood of AIDS patients were shown to be over expressed, especially significant in the combined oral candidiasis. | Keywords/Search Tags: | HIV/AIDS, oral candidosis, IL-12, ICAM-1, CD4 T lymphocyte count | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
