Chemiluminescence(CL) has the virtue of high sensitivity, wide linear range simplicity etc.. Because of no light in CL process, the CL method background launch is much lower than fluorescence method, and prove to be high sensitivity research means for trace analysis and ultra trace analysis of inorganic and organic. Any material influencing CL reaction or leading to change of CL intensity, rate and wavelength could become analysis objects of CL method. We detected two antibiotic drugs adopting flow injection (FI)-CL technology. The main research contents are shown as follows:1. A new, rapid and sensitive method was put forward for the determination of rifampicin (rifampicin, RFP) using FI coupled with CL detection, which was based on the inhibiting effect of RFP on the luminol-KIO4 CL system under alkaline condition. The linear range was from 7.0×10-9 to 6.0×10-7 mol/L with the detection limit (DL) of 3.2×10-9 mol/L. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) of CL intensity were 0.8% and 1.6% for 3.0×10-8 mol/L and 2.0×10-7 mol/L RFP, respectively, by repeated(n=11) determinations under the optimum conditions. The minimum sampling rate was about 128 samples/h. It has been applied to the determinations of RFP in RFP for eye use and RFP capsules using established method. The method is convenient, rapid, accurate and may be considered for the analysis of RFP.2. It has been discovered that AZL could suppress the CL intensity of the luminol-KIO4 CL system. A new, rapid and sensitive method was established for the determination of azlocillin (AZL) using FI coupled with CL detection. Elements affecting the reproducibility and CL intensity were studied and optimized in detail. Under the optimum conditions, the linear relation between the net CL intensity and the AZL concentration was good in the range of 5.0×10-8-1.0×10-5mol/L with the regression coefficient of 0.9991, and a DL of 3.1×10-8 mol/L was achieved. The RSD of CL intensity was 1.7% for 11 repeated determinations of 1.0×10-7mol/L AZL. The minimum sampling rate was about 124 samples/h. It has been applied to the determinations of AZL in azlocillin sodium for injection successfully using established method.
