The Diagonsis And Treatment Of Congestive Heart Failure In Dogs

CHF is a pathological syndrome of canine caused by many kinds of cardiac disease. The rate of the CHF is high in the veterinary practice. Physiology and hematology detection was presented to distinguish it from other illness. X-Ray and ultrasonic technique was used to judge it. Sintec,Pilian,Aminophylline,Lasix,Aldactone were taken to cure the CHF. Results are as the follows:1. The physical examination for the dogs with congestive heart failure include: interrogation, inspection, auscultation and palpation. Movement occurs in dogs suffering from intolerance, difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat, and accompanied by noise.2. Clinical and pathological examination including blood tests, chest X-ray examination and cardiac ultrasound. LDH and CK are the important items in hematology; We can see the significantly increascent cardiac outline accompanied by pulmonary congestion, pulmonary edema during the chest X-ray examination; Cardiac ultrasound is the the most accurate and convenient examing method, it can show the state of heart valve, pericardial , cardiac muscle clearly ; Evaluate the state of the heart chamber by testing the left ventricular end-diastolic and end-systolic capacity and left ventricular ejection fraction. Quantitative analysis the atria and ventricles interior diameter , thickness of the wall,apperance of the heart, and the structure of the pericardial, valve and vascular etc.3. The principles of treatment to congestive heart failure disease include: Avoid stress (overheating,over humidity or noise), increase the oxygen supply, remove alveolar fluid and reduce airway constriction, mild sedative to reduce anxiety, reduce afterload, increase in myocardial contractile force, commonly used drugs: furosemide, spironolactone, sentec and so on.
