| The power industry plays an essential part in a nation's economic development and social stability, of which power supply enterprises shoulder the responsibility of transmitting energy from power plant to millions of households, industrial and commercial enterprises, as well as government sectors. Therefore safety production of power supply enterprises has direct impacts upon the continuity and reliability of electricity supply. In spite of the great contributions that traditional safety management model of power supply enterprises has made to the safe operation of the grid, there has been an increasing pressure of safety production management on power supply enterprise due to the economic development, larger-scaled power grid, and increasingly complex communications. In view of solutions, only the introduction of risk management theories and methods in company with specific circumstances of power supply enterprises can lead to a better settlement of current safety issues. The present study focuses on risk management theories and methods. Modeling on X Power Supply Bureau, the study summarizes its history of safety production managements, analyzes causalities, accidents, obstacles and personnel responsibilities of kinds in the past 10 years, and presents problems of traditional safety production management. Then the study introduces safety production risk managements of China Southern Power Grid and X Power Supply Bureau, analyses achievements obtained, and proposes problems and suggestions. |
