In the proving ground, the sky-screen often serves as a target which is used to capture moment when flying object arrives at given position. Along with measurement techniques tends for cyberization, multipoint velocity measurement is necessary, as well as more demanding for experiments about the performance evaluation of ammunition power gradually, data management becomes challenging. Some problems hinder sky-screen form application in test field, such as lacking of remote monitoring method, be short of accurate time reference value and intelligent power management.So sky-screen signal processing device become very important.The demanding of the sky-screen signal processing device is analyzed in this thesis thoroughly, and one nolval solution is proposed. It solves all problems which existed in the test area previously, in addition, some demands are contented in the proving ground such as safety, stability, low-power and high-accuracy. Based on GPS timing system, the sky-screen signal processing device can fulfil the data collection for bullet flight velocity measurement. Also the data is described accurately by means of pulses per second (PPS) and high precision clock system. This data can be transmitted to upper computer via the wireless control network of Zigbee. The application program is implemented on the IAR Embedded Workbench real-time embedded application platform which includes serial communication, temperature acquisition and projectile velocity acquisition. Besides, a new intelligent power module is designed which can cut off power when sky-screen is idle. Simulated experiment shows the feasibility and reliability of this project.Experimental results show that the GPS timing system enhance the whole time standards, and ensure the projectile flight time reach accuracy of microsecond.In addition that device can reaches 200m communication distance and the power supply of Smart Power can last 15 hours.
