Research On Expert System Of 500kV/220kV Relay Protections Inspection Standardized Operations

Rely protection is the most basic, most important and most efficient technique to ensure the power system and equipment safe and prevent long blackout. The inspection of rely protection is the key means of prevent power supply and power grid accident. The current site inspection lies on the experience of the site workers mostly due to little auxiliary software. Negligent omission can be easily occurred in the inspection due to lack the efficient platform of whole process complete technical support. Focusing on this situation this paper researches the relay protection inspection standardized operation expert system. This expert system fulfills the standardized, intelligence, automation and full integration of rely protection inspection and management with computer and net techniques, overall design of the platform and architecture. The main works of this paper are as follows.(1) The whole process control of site inspection can be achieved by standardized software operation means. This is from the analysis of the 12 relay protection inspection standardized operating instructions for 220kV and above of Jiangsu Power Company. Same kind of protection uses same kind of process which makes the relay protection inspection safe and reliable. This can prevent miss and omission of security measures and misuse of human factor. And it can improve safety and efficiency.(2) The website and database system for relay protection inspection spread whole Jiangsu province is set up which includes the wiring structure of every substation, equipment information, designed maintenance cycle, defects of equipment operation and et al. The platform helps the orderly management of relay protection inspection, human resources allocation and expert knowledge resource sharing for everywhere.(3) Site debugging experience and history debugging log are stored in the platform which helps the experience accumulation, share, grow and develop for site workers. With the help of remote expert the site workers can handle emergency situation and problems effectively.(4) The automatic inspection function is achieved by research of interface communication of inspection software and relay protection inspection equipment. The software will analyze correctness of inspection data feedback from equipment and then form a report which realizes the automation and intelligence inspection and improves the efficiency of inspection.Based on relay protection inspection standardized operation expert system design and overall platform structure realization, the module developments are achieved for commonly used protections in Jiangsu province. And the expert system achieved satisfactory by the practical use in several site inspections such as Yandu substation, Meili substation, Shishan substation and et al.
