At present, most domestic cars are equipped with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) device, with which the car can keep its directionality and maneuverability during braking Therefore detection and repair of the ABS is particularly important and it is the main task of the dissertation to develop a training bench for teaching that can be used to educate the maintenance personnel of ABS effectively.Firstly, we probe into the controlling mode of ABS and demonstrate the problem of the best slip rate optimization by studying the basic structure and working principle of ABS. The development process of the ABS training bench is mainly expounded. The purpose of high precision simulation is achieved through the modeling of each part of ABS. Secondly, we design the hardware system of the training bench. The inertia of vehicle braking is simulated by adding inertial wheel to the mechanical transmission system and the road conditions are emulated through the method of changing the tire pressure, which implement the simulation of real vehicle braking process. Finally, the assorted data acquisition and processing system is designed by using the virtual simulation software, Labview. The vehicle speed curve is drawn through analysing and dealing with the signals of real wheel speed and vehicle speed transmitted from different sensors, which demonstrates and evaluates the working performance of ABS.The final design of ABS training bench can completely simulate and demonstrate various working conditions of ABS and can also be used to verify the basic theory of it. so as to achieve the purpose of training corresponding maintenance personnel of ABS...
