The Application Of New Chinese-style In Landscape Architecture

With the rapid development of the world, the culture, art, language between nations tend to integrate . Especially the cultural convergence has great influence on the Chinese landscape architecture design, people wouldn't inherit and carry forward their long-standing cultural tradition, but indiscriminately pursue other country's culture. The problem of the accelerated pace of Chinese modernization and the transformation from traditional society to modern society began to emerge gradually. If Chinese traditional landscape architecture reserves statically, it will conflict with people's modern lifestyle.In this situation, the landscape architecture designers must consider how to make the nation's tradition and modern art be integrated. It is a good way to use the new Chinese-style.In this thesis, the author definites the concept of new Chinese-style and analyzes the rise of social background about new Chinese-style. From the new Chinese-style excellent cases, the author selects the typical cases from north to south, concludes the features and design ideas of new Chinese-style. Through visiting and researching Fuzhou's parks, the author analyses the evolution of various structural elements in landscape architecture, summarizes how to use new Chinese-style and proposes some recommendations about it.The author hope through research and analysis, points out a new direction for the local landscape architecture design. If it can integrate the inner soul of construction and the culture of city, the city will be better for living.
