Study On Culture Regional Characteristics Of Decoration Of Guangzhou Qilou In Modern Time

Study on cultural regional characteristics is an important part of Regional Architecture Culture research. The cultural regional characteristics analyze building phenomenon from the perspective of aesthetics, connecting technology and protection and so on. Qilou is one of architecture type richest in number, the most widespread in region, the most abundant in type and the most typical in performance in Guangzhou. Decoration of Qilou is the most concentrated reflection of Lingnan cultural regional characteristics. The present paper expect to explore the cultural regional characteristics of Guangzhou architecture in modern time from the decoration of Qilou.This article use a literature study, field investigation, overlapping comprehensive interdisciplinary research, comparative analysis and other methods,to study the regional culture character of arcade from the art of adornment characteristics, cultural spirit and humanistic character. The first architectural skill from the study of geography and climate, the traditional process, the new technology import and decoration style vocabulary and the category of the key parts of the adornment processing technique are summarized of that old and new te-chnology, simplified decoration are integrated use of climate, geo-graphical adjustment, style diversity compatible, and vocabulary category vivid skill characteristics.
