Study On Construction Of Craftsmen Characteristics Of "Yike Yin" Traditional Dwelling

"Yike yin" traditional dwelling is a typical representative of vernacular dwellings in Yunnan province. And it originated in a particular time and space context and contains many valuable skills and experiences of local construction; It is an important architectural culture clue of Yunnan. So, the thesis topic—study on construction of craftsmen characteristics of "Yike yin" traditional dwelling is great significant, both for the research and preservation of cultural heritage and for the continuation and development of culture.Based on the field survey and communication with local craftsmen, in this thesis the writer focused mainly on the in-depth observation and detailed record of various kinds of traditional dwelling constructions of craftsmen on "Yike yin", and the theoretical analysis on it had been done.This paper was composed of three parts. In the first part program, two leading impact factors of the development of residential consruction of craftsman—nature and geography and social culture conditions were studied. And after depth analysis, a conclusion that the construction of craftsmen of "Yike yin" is the result of many factors was got. In this reseach, order to find out the devlopment traces of "Yike yin" traditional dwelling, the connection between ancient Yunnan constructions of craftsmen cultural and "Yike yin" traditional dwelling was learned as well. All of these are theoretical basis and research background of the following study.The second part program is the backbone and core of the thesis. The author not only observed carefully and interviewed in-depth the whole process of the constructions as a spectator, but also involved in several activities of constructions to some extent to grub and sort substantial and practical first hand information. All the first hand information honestly expressed the tools, construction way, the ritual, the institutions and the ideas of the cratsmen of "Yike yin" traditional dwelling. From the operation of techniques to the ideas of construction and construction rituals were covered in this paper.In the end, the construction of craftsmen characteristics of "Yike yin" traditional vernacular dwelling were summarized, and researchers put forwards some unresolved problems and gave some suggestions about this research subject as well.
