Comparative Study On The Logic Of Material Expression In Contemporary Architecture Design And Construction Of Craftsmen

In recent years,science and technology continues to progress all over the world,new technology and new materials are emerging.Under the impact of all kinds of ideas in today's architecture field,to study the construction process of Yunnan Yikeyin as the breakthrough point,Mining the knowledge and thinking of the materials in the construction activities.And then,analyze and sort the logic of material expression in Chinese traditional construction of craftsmen.At the same time,combined with contemporary Chinese architects' perception of materials,exploring the logic of material expression in Chinese contemporary architecture design.Further more,the above two are compared and analyzed,analyzing the logic of material expression in architecture design from the perspective of the traditional construction of craftsmen,proposing a thinking method of material in future architecture design.At last,this paper hopes to have a clear carding of the logic of material expression in traditional construction of craftsmen through the above research,providing directions of thinking material issues for future architecture design.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter,introduction.Introduces main research background,explains the object of study and research methods,establishs the premise of the discussion.The second chapter.Discusses the relationship between Chinese traditional craftsmen and contemporary architects.Explains the significance of the material cognition in tranditional construction of craftsmen.Taking Yunnan "Yikeyin" residence as the research object,analysises the process of its construction of craftsmen,interprets the logic of material expression in the process.The third chapter.On the basis of the previous chapter,interprets the logic of material expression in Chinese tranditional construction of craftsmen from three parts: "starting from the material"," materials and tectonics in construction of craftsmen","properties related to materials ".The fourth chapter.Combined with the development of contemporary Chinese architecture,analysises and discusses the contemporary Chinese architects' views on the expression of materials.Further summarizes the logic of material expression in Chinese contemporary architectural design.The fifth chapter.Compares the difference of the logic of material expression between contemporary architecture design and construction of craftsmen.Analysises the logic of material expression in contemporary architecture design from the perspective of the tranditional construction of craftsmen.Proposes a thinking method of material,"back to materials".And speculate some properties related to materials.The sixth chapter.Through analysising a case and a project to further illustrate the previous analysis of the logic of material expression.
