Research On The Space Art In The Grand View Garden Of The Dream Of The Red Chamber

Nowadays, seeking effect and form of the landscape while ignoring the creating for poetic imagery of Garden space, which cause the modern landscape without artistic conception. Taking the Grand View Garden of the Dream of the Red Chamber for the study subject, analyzing the space of Grand View Garden from the perspectives of literature, movie and landscape arts, which can find out the method to create the artistic conception for the space of modern landscape,and provide reference and guidance for the modern landscape design.(1)Analyzing the space layout of Grand View Garden on the base of the expression elements and forms this paper summarize the characteristics of the space:Grand View Garden has the characteristics in the perspective of the literary, as illusory,mobility,and poem-character; it has the characteristics in the perspective of the movie, as intuitive, instantaneousness and artistry; and it has the characteristics in the perspective of the garden art, as objectivity, flexibility.(2)By using questionnaire method to investigate the situation about the audience who have felt the Grand View Garden in three perspective, the paper summarize the result as follows:In the literary perspective,the audience who have strong comprehension ability can awareness the Grand View Garden with their feelings; In the movie perspective, the audience who have strong memory and image can awareness the Grand View Garden with their feelings, but the space which they feelings is less integrity than before; But in the landscape arts perspective, the audience who just have the simple orientation discrimination can easily realized the space, without taking their feeling in the space. In a word, the Grand View Garden space created in the way of the literature and movie is much more better than of the landscape arts.(3)By analyzing the techniques about construction the space in perspective of the literature and movie after comparing the three perspective about the space creating, the paper achieve the result of that, the ideas of'start-development-high-end'as the modulation method, foreshadowing in the writing methods,and the mobile camera, long-lens, montage in the movie, which can take reference role in modern landscape. Finally, through a design case——design of the Lei Feng memorial hall in Changsha City, it has been verified that the creating space ways in the literature and movie is feasible in the landscape design.
