At the situation of no-load, find its maximum stress location. After that, do the modal analysis. In the whole work cycle, find previous order and its corresponding mode shape of vibration forms. At the same time, check its critical speed to avoid the occurrence of resonance.When the breaking leaves break up materials, because of their very large relative velocity, the process could be considered that the material impact the breaking leaves. The paper refers to the classic model of the impact; calculates the force. And then according to the structural characteristics and distributing of the leaves in the axis, the paper lists all forces on the leaves in a cycle. Use those data to do the transient Analysis through the finite element software -ANSYS. The paper finds the conclusion that the change of the bearing node force follows the time. For the structural design and the process improvement of the breaking rotary drum dryer, the paper provides theoretical basis. It has the actual meaning for reasonable design for improving the product life.Through the analysis and research above, the conclusion is the breaking axis is analyzed by static and dynamic finite element analysis.
