Associating the incessant innovation and application of railway technology, high-speed rail traffic has been booming in China. At the same time, ride comfort requirements from passengers on the train are also getting higher and higher. In the environment of man-machine system of passenger train, the seat is an important part impacting a ride comfort. How to improve the ride comfort, and design the train seats meeting the requirements of the human-machine engineering, is a very important issue.As train seat comfort research consists of dynamic comfort research and static comfort research, this paper is divided into two parts on this basis.The first part is on the dynamic seat comfort research. It mainly refers to the vibration as a result of the train running, which causes harm to humans by the seat passes to the human b-ody. This paper, aiming at the running environment of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railw-ay in China, considering the train running at different speeds, taking the vibration value of vibrating the most seriously in the internal board of the train as input resource of exciting, on the theoretical basis of model with two degrees of freedom human-chair system, adopting the ISO2631 method as the evaluation method of human vibration comfort, determine the physical parameters of the seat vibration system through the ADAMS simulation analysis, and provide theoretical basis for the seat design.The second part is on the static seat comfort research. It mainly refers to the uncomfortableness of the human physical body caused by the seat with different contour structure parameters. This paper, with the strong support of a theory aiming at the key research of static comfort, analyzes the influencing factors of static seat comfort and puts forward the principle of its design. Based on it, design a seat test platform, and produces evaluation system software for comfort with the related software, so provides a good solution for the combination of theory and practice of seat design.
