Research On Scoping And Spatial Development Model Of Anhui Central-regional Urban Agglomeration

As an important expression of regional urbanization and urban regionalization, itsrise obviously helps the economic development of a country or a region. As far as theessence of urban agglomeration is concerned, its own does not have establishedadministrative boundary. Therefore, it's first that making clear the space range ofurban agglomeration in the research on urban agglomeration, because a clear andreasonable space range of urban agglomeration is the improtant guarantee of realizingreasonable functional integration and regional coordinated development.Currently, the development of anhui urban agglomeration is in incubation periodand fluctuation period, its spatial structure not stable, its spatial scope unclear. It's theobjective request and the key of realizing the strategy of"Rising of central region inChnia"that how to integrating and cultivating anhui urban agglomeration, and make itbecoming the growth pole of driving regional development and participating in globalcompetition and international economic cooperation and division. Clearly, it issignificant for cultivating and guiding the development of urban agglomeration inAnhui that reasonable definition of the scope of Anhui central-regional urbanagglomeration, and choosing reasonable development patterns, and enacting relevantdevelopment ideas and countermeasures.Based on theories of Urban Economics and also with methods of determiningnature and fixing quantify, this paper researches thoroughly on the scope and spatialdevelopment model of Anhui central-regional urban agglomeration. First, based on theanalysis of the concept of urban agglomeration and the reviewing and summarizing ofdomestic and foreign scholars'researches on scoping of urban agglomeration, thispaper proposes the perspectives and methods of urban agglomeration spatialdemarcation, and makeing process analysis, spatial analysis and superposition analysison the basis of data acquisition, determines synthetically the scope of Anhuicentral-regional urban agglomeration, i.e. with Hefei as primary center and Wuhu fortimes center, including Bengfu, Huainan, Chaohu, Ma'anshan, Tongling and Chuzhou,Lu'an, altogether 9 cities, and 36 counties and districts. Second, based on spatialstructure patterns and the orientations of spatial development patterns of Anhuicentral-regional urban agglomeration, this paper determines the spatial development model of Anhui central-regional urban agglomeration, i.e. dual-core multi-axial type ofdevelopment pattern evolving into dual-core multiaxial type of development pattern.Finally, this paper puts forward the Suggestions and countermeasures of thedevelopment of Anhui central-regional urban agglomeration.Through to the case study of scoping and spatial development model of Anhuicentral-regional urban agglomeration, the author expects to enrich the definitionmethods of spatial scope of urban agglomeration, and explore the new research modelof urban agglomeration, and offer valuable reference for development of other urbanagglomerations.
