Traditional Closed Park Converted Into Open Park

Combined with the characteristics of the times, the thesis makes a detailedanalysis on the urban park's current situation of a shift to the open transition processfrom the interior environment to the exterior environment, and a comprehensiveanalysis on the strengths and weaknesses of development and construction, which isbeneficial to the future park's construction, giving full play to the advantages,avoiding or improving the disadvantages. It points positively out the universalproblems during the development and construction of the open park, and puts forwardcorresponding solutions. It probes into the distinctions of the design and constructionbetween the open park and traditionally closed one. Based on Xuzhou Pengzu ParkReconstruction Project, it applies theories into practical analysis, makes a summary ofsuccesses and inadequacies of the shift from the closed park to the open one, whichprovides the guidance for the future design, construction and supervision of openurban park.The thesis is composed of six parts, and explains analytically the theoreticalresearch on the construction of the shift from the traditional closed park to the openone。Part One is the introduction which sketches the research background, purpose,significance, framework and methods.。The second part offers the general introduction of the developmental history andcharacteristics at home and abroad。Next part deals with the current conditions and background situation of ourcountry briefly。Part Four is the core of the thesis, which elaborates the fundamental principlesand the major problems for the open urban park, and theoretically makes an inquiryinto the reconstruction design of the urban park and supervision systems after itsopenness.
