Along with the rapid development of electronic technology, there comes a new kind of motor called PMBLDCM. It overcomes the shortages that exist for direct current motors, such as sparkling while commutation, poor reliability, high noise, strong wireless interference, etc. Meanwhile, it enjoys advantages of large control scope, high efficiency, etc. Thus it has been widely applied into the fields of sophisticated electronic equipments and devices, industrial automation equipments, automobiles and electric vehicle equipments, modern household electrical appliances.On the basis of current domestic and foreign researches on permanent magnet motors electromagnetic design, the thesis aims to make researches on PMBLDCM Computer Aided Design (CAD) and develop an accurate, rapid and convenient PMBLDCM CAD system.This paper introduces PMBLDCM's application, working performances, analyses current situation and development of CAD technology. Focusing on PMBLDCM's characteristic, the project makes uses of CAD technology and VB 6.0 as programming language, successfully develops a user friendly PMBLDCM CAD system. Based on the analysis of PMBLDCM's performance and design method, this project makes researches on the frame construction, content, and calculation of PMBLDCM CAD system and finally develops a multiple module PMBLDCM CAD system which realizes the congregation of motor deign, performance prediction, motor structure diagram design, motor finite element analysis.On the basis of External Rotor Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor electromagnetic Design, the thesis makes use of PMBLDCM CAD system and interfaces this system with matalb,solid works, JMAG and other analysis software, trying to obtain motor working performance curve and motor technical dimension chart. What's more, a definite element simulation analysis has also been made.
