As one part of the National Natural Science Foundation "Urban landscape characteristic theoretical model of Grade-Category study" (Project Approval No. :50878092,2009-2011),this paper is aim to is to establish a scientific, reasonable and effective method for dividing levels of the urban artificial landscape. The establishment of this method can be applied to any city in the artificial landscape features to the evaluation stage, and to raise awareness of what is truly distinctive urban landscape, this feature can be beneficial for the protection of the landscape, the special resources advantage of as much as possible into the city to provide technical support.This paper consists of the following three aspects:1) Construction of urban artificial landscape features evaluation index system. Artificial landscape features to the city to grade, you first need to establish a comprehensive evaluation system of artificial landscape features, while the core of this system is artificial landscape features of the evaluation index system. In this paper, Professor Yu Bochun of aesthetic structure theory, the aesthetic characteristics of the artificial landscape of urban cities as its characteristics as a basis for classification, based on the argument in this artificial landscape features of the city evaluation; and then through the various levels of analysis Index Weighting weight to arrive at an objective urban artificial landscape features comprehensive evaluation index system.2) The classification of urban artificial landscape features of the complexity of this paper, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of artificial landscape features as a method of classification guidance. Fuzzy comprehensive method is systematic in this area, how fuzzy comprehensive method and the classification of urban artificial landscape features associated with, is a breakthrough of this study, divided into the following three steps: first is to determine the domain of evaluation, including evaluation factor set, the evaluation factor weight set and evaluation set, the evaluation factors set and the evaluation factor weight is the city for urban artificial landscape features evaluation construct the index system; Second, determine the evaluation object; final fuzzy mathematics to the evaluation of sample data statistics and calculation, the characteristics of the final level of evaluation objects obtained.3) Finally, select a specific city - Suzhou as the empirical research.
