The LAN-based motor control module is based on the VXI and changed over the way of plug-play to connect modules, it is more convenient and flexible to debug the electromotor module and the motor can be accessed through the Ethernet by long distance control, the weapon systems and equipment testing needs of a variety of motion control unit, so the development of LAN-based motor control module is of great significance. The subject puts forward the functional requirements of the LAN-based motor control module's, and for the performance indicators, various parts of hardware and software design are planned. In aspect of hardware, the whole system is designed by combining ARM board,DSP board and the function module. The ARM board use of way about transplanting Linux OS and developing communication application software to realize the function of network interface; The DSP board is made up by the chip DSP and FPGA, in order to communicate with the ARM board. The function board use H-bridge technology to realize the function of changing speed and reversing etc about motor. From software aspect, on the client terminal, the tool of LabWindows/CVI is used to develop the friendly panel based on ideas of virtual instruments designing, it is convenient for customers to get the operation of the DC motor. On the ARM board, the communication function is realized by transplanting Linux OS and developing network application software. Based on learning more about the principle of motor, the classic motor control algorithm is achieved on the CPU of DSP. The thesis also in-depth introduces two kind of modern control algorithms: fuzzy control algorithm and sliding mode control algorithms. The mathematical model and the motor state space equation of the motor are derived, and the unbalanced load mathematical model is established. These two algorithms are simulated by Matlab; the results show that they are good solutions to the problem of unbalanced load and to prevent excess from happening. The basis is provided in the embedded processor to implement these two control algorithms based on C language. Finally, the entire system is debugged and tested, the results show that the entire system is stable, meets performance requirements and the technical indicators.
