With the development of China's urbanization process, comprehensive transportationsystem should improve and develop constantly, and the terminal is an important point ofimproving the comprehensive transportation system construction. However, at present ourcountry mainly focuses on basic facilities construction of comprehensive passenger terminal,and ignores static guiding sign system construction in the terminal, so can not give full play tothe transportation efficiency and function of comprehensive passenger terminal. The perfectstatic guiding sign system design can minimize the ineffective way round and stagnation timeof passengers in the terminal, so as to enhance the efficiency of the terminal operationorganization. Thus, the paper researches on static guiding sign system of rail comprehensivepassenger terminal, so as to put forward a set of design method and evaluation method that issuitable for our country.Firstly the paper analyzes the basic situation and layout forms of the domestic and foreigntypical rail comprehensive passenger terminal, and summarizes the rail comprehensivepassenger terminal of the basic layout mode, system composition and transfer mode. Frompassenger flow structure, passenger behavior characteristics and passenger travel requirementsto analyze the passenger characteristics. Then this paper analyzes the general form of passengerstreamline organization in one transportation function area and public transfer area. Based onthe analysis of passenger streamline, this paper puts forward the passenger information demandfor different passenger streamline in different function areas.Reference of existing research results, this paper defines the static guiding sign system, andclassifies it to four categories. In view of the present situation of the existing problems for thestatic guiding sign system, this paper puts forward the design principle of the sign. Based on theanalysis of passenger characteristics, from four aspects of sign color, graphics, characters, shapeand layout, the paper proposes the design method. On account of the demand analysis, thispaper proposes the grading guide method of static guiding sign system, and all kinds of signsset forms and set position. Then the paper establishes a multi-layer evaluation indicator systemfor evaluating static guiding sign system based on experts' consultation and theoretical analysis.In order to ensure the accuracy of evaluation results, the paper takes fuzzy statistics method,scale evaluation method and set-valued statistics method to quantify the qualitative indicators,then applies AHP method and mean square deviation method to determine the weight ofevaluation indicators, finally brings forward multi-objective grey relation projection model toassess the static guiding sign system, so that achieve the evaluating and decision making for thestatic guiding sign system of rail comprehensive passenger terminal.In order to demonstrate the validity of the results in this paper, as the design schemes of static guiding sign system of Nanjing South Station for example,the paper puts forward the problemsand related suggestions for Nanjing South Station. At last, this paper selects5typical railcomprehensive passenger terminals to evaluate the static guiding sign systems, in order toverify the research results maneuverability.
