The energy-saving and pollutant emission reduction strategy of the power system, which has important significance to the China's overall energy-saving and emission reducing task. The optimal control of the circulating water system has important significance to the safety and economy operation of the power plant.In this paper, a new scheme is brought forward to improve the performance of the power plant system, which apply high voltage large power inverter system in circulating pump, the operation of circulating water system is modified meanwhile. The analysis of the working effect prove the project correctness. The conclusion can be made that, applying high voltage large power inverter system in fire power plant's large power assistant motor system can effectively reduce wastage. This scheme can improve the whole set's control performance and be recommended to other similar systems.
