Then, the paper discusses the landscape design principles of residential district playgrounds for children which are of great benefit to children's body and mental development in detail, and summarize methods from the site planning and design, plants landscape, pavement, play equipments and facilities, supporting facilities.What's more, the paper seeks the enlightenment of landscape designs of residential district playgrounds for children from excellent cases of external and domestic landscape designs about residential district, campus and so on.By the analysis about the landscape design of children playgrounds in residential district on a systematic approach, the suggestions and conclusions are carried out on the relevant issues, and the focus and direction of subsequent research are pointed out.
